“A Room with a View”: James Ivory, Helena Bonham Carter and Julian Sands celebrate the film´s 30th anniversary in Florence

The film A Room with a View, based on the mythical novel (1908) by Morgan Forster, was mostly shot in Florence. On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, James Ivory — appearing undisturbed, gentle and leisurely — Helena Bonham Carter — visibly altered — and Julian Sands — so cheerful despite calming Helena — attended the screening of the film at the Cinema Odeon in Florence on the night of October 5. Ivory was earlier at the Palazzo Vecchio to receive by the city’s mayor, Dario Nardella, the “Fiorino d’oro”. On September 7, Ivory will be at La Compagnia cinema during the screening of three of his films: Return to Howards End, Mr. & Mrs. Bridge and Heat & Dust. On October 7 at 5:00 p. m. the cast of the film will attend the meeting “Tea with a View” at the Harold Acton Library.…
